JEFFERSON LARRABEE BRADY

July 2, 1940 – July 17, 2007

Beloved and loving husband of Linda, much loved father of Mark, Kathy, and Kim, grandfather of ten, and great grandfather of three. Jeff was preceded in his journey to be with his Lord and Savior by his first son, Michael.

Jeff was born in Evanston, Illinois to Benjamin and Geraldine Larrabee. Jeff’s father Benjamin passed away when Jeff was a young boy and after his mother remarried, became a member of the Brady family.  He graduated from Lakeside School in Seattle with the class of 1958.  While attending high school, he met and fell in love with Linda Marie Johnson. Jeff and Linda married shortly thereafter and would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in November, 2007.

Jeff co-founded Northwest Information Systems, Inc. in 1979 and had many aspiring and experienced programmers and IT professionals pass through his employ.  He was a successful businessman and built many relationships with vendors and customers alike. Jeff was also a volunteer for many organizations and was always ready to help out when needed.  At the time of his passing Jeff served on the boards of Lutherwood Camp & Retreat Center, where he and Linda had been instrumental in the completion of Spirit Lodge. He was also on the board for the Eastside Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.  In addition, he was a dedicated worker for Wooden Cross Lutheran Church.

Jeff loved photography, woodworking and anything to do with computers or electronics.  He also loved to travel with his wife and had been to all six major continents.  Mariner’s baseball, the theater and pop concerts were also high on his list.

Jeff had an impact on many people with his special personality and charisma. He was always there for those in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21 at 11:00 AM  at Wooden Cross Lutheran Church, 17401 198^th Ave. NE, Woodinville, Washington.
