(NISI) that was specifically developed to meet inventory management and accounting needs.  It is an open system and can customized to meet your specific business rules and requirements.  The database environment for which NISI provides computing solutions includes the UniVerse and Unidata databases of IBM.  These databases run on Microsoft’s Windows NT and Windows 2003, as well as almost all flavors of UNIX. 

 An area of concentration for the past several years has been the migration of customers’ existing UNIX legacy software applications to the UniVerse database running on Windows NT.  This has allowed companies with these legacy applications to continue running their software in a much more open systems environment while still utilizing their existing dumb terminals and other serial devices.

 As a Microsoft Solutions Provider, NISI offers networking implementation and administration for the Windows NT/2003 platform.  As authorized resellers for Hewlett Packard and other major computer manufacturers, NISI provides computers for those interested in name-brand systems as well as the more economical and generic “white box” systems.  All brands come with industry standard warranties and on-site maintenance.
